Window Coverings for Ajax homes
Ajax has a lot of 2000s and 2010s family homes in the north end with standard builder windows, plus older neighbourhoods south of the 401 near the waterfront. For window coverings in Ajax, that usually means every type: blinds, shades, shutters, drapery, motorized, honest advice on what suits each room, and a fit we guarantee because we measured it. Ajax is an area we schedule regular install days for. Newer communities such as Audley, Northeast Ajax, Lakeside tend to come with standard builder windows and nothing on them at closing, which is where a whole-house package makes the most sense.

Blinds for new homes in AjaxQuestions about window coverings in Ajax
What are the best window coverings for a new home in Ajax?
Most new Ajax homeowners start with zebra or roller shades on the main floor, blackout cellular or roller in the bedrooms, faux wood in the bathrooms, and shutters or drapery on the front-facing windows. We will walk through each room with you.
Do you do the whole house in one visit?
Yes. One consultation to measure every window, one installation visit once everything is made. A typical Ajax house is two to four hours to install.
How far in advance should I book?
Book the consultation whenever you like, even before closing on a new home. Production takes 10 to 15 business days after you approve the quote, so booking the measure two to three weeks before you move in works well.
Are you a local company?
Yes. We serve Ajax directly with our own installers rather than subcontractors, and we cover the whole GTA and the regions around it. Your Blind Spot is the window covering division of 1 Stop Home Solutions (1stophs.ca), which is also where our reviews live.
What our clients say
"We had the zebra shades done in the living room and kitchen and the difference in the afternoon is unreal. No more squinting at the TV."
"I work nights and the blackout rollers in the bedroom actually work. I sleep in the day now. Should have done this years ago."
"The shutters are gorgeous and they measured perfectly. Our older windows are out of square and they still sit flush."
