How to install roller and zebra shades
Roller and zebra shades are quick to install. With a drill, a level, and thirty minutes you can have a window finished, and our guides walk you through it step by step.
Step by step

Lay out the brackets and confirm the headrail sits the right way up, with the fabric coming off the back for a standard roll.

Hold the headrail in position against the window or wall and mark the bracket holes with a pencil, checking they are level.

Drill the pilot holes and screw the brackets into place.
- 4
Click or slide the headrail into the brackets until it seats firmly.
- 5
Test the lift a few times. Cordless shades should glide and stop where you let go.

For motorized units, pair the remote or app using the card in the box, then set your limits as described in the setup guide.

- Use wall anchors for outside mount into drywall.
- Do not over-tighten the brackets into soft frames.
